For our latest project, we installed black linen sheers, with a Modern and contemporary wave heading.
Design and styling has and continues to change at a rapid rate. Window coverings have historically been an afterthought, however the mindset is shifting towards a view that they are no longer just a functional requirement, but a high priority component that can solely and dramatically impact a space (either positively or negatively!)
You may have seen some examples where neglecting the window furnishings, despite best efforts, can undo all of the great work put into a potentially fantastic room.
Styling has been moving away from what was previously viewed as an ‘old’ trend in the simple roller blind, to now adding more depth, warmth and feature to the room with carefully thought out coverings. Curtains, plantation shutters and motorisation are becoming an increasingly popular choice, as well as all other window coverings that add that something extra to the finish of a space.
Many stylists will tell you that window furnishings have become just as important as furniture, lighting and paint (and we tend to agree!)
